Traction Backpack Elevator 3
It is the most common type of home elevator at present. The car is driven up and down by ten-core steel belts and traction sheaves, boasting the advantages of high efficiency, low noise, small hoistway space occupation and simple maintenance. However, it requires a high initial investment and is suitable for multi-storey villas.

Dimensions
Maximum: 1.4m × 1.4m
Minimum: 0.8m × 0.8m
Speed & Load Capacity
Rated speed: ≤ 0.4 m/s
Car travel distance: ≤ 24 m
Rated load capacity: ≤ 400 kg
Door Opening Methods
There are mainly two types: manual sliding doors and automatic doors.
Manual sliding doors are structurally similar to ordinary doors, equipped with an interlocking door lock device.
Automatic doors feature double protection of car doors and hall doors. Over 95% of villa elevators adopt center-opening automatic doors for space-saving and easy operation.
Safety Devices & Components
Traction Machine
Shanghai Faxi permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine.
Control System
Hipromt (IoT-enabled) / Monarch 9000 system.
Car Light Curtain
High-end safety light curtain with 199 beams. If any part of the device is obstructed during operation, the car door will stop closing and reverse to open immediately.
Landing Door Operator
Manual sliding door type.
Travel Limit Switch
When the elevator reaches a preset height, the travel limit switch will be triggered, and the elevator will stop running after smooth parking.
Backup Power Supply
In case of sudden power failure during operation, the elevator will activate its built-in backup power supply. The control system enables the elevator to use the emergency valve descent device and park at the nearest floor or the first floor, ensuring no entrapment.
Component Upgrade
All components are reinforced and thickened for stronger load-bearing capacity, making the elevator run more smoothly and safely.
Safety Gear
In case of emergencies, the safety gear can lock the elevator instantly within 0.5 seconds to stop operation, achieving double protection and ensuring no elevator free fall under any potential danger. It serves as a life-saving device—each elevator is equipped with two safety gears, similar to seat belts in cars. If the steel belts break suddenly, it will lock the elevator instantly and clamp the car tightly on the guide rails to prevent falling.
Ten-core Steel Belts
The elevator uses neither wire ropes nor chains, but special solid steel belts for elevators. These are blue-light steel belts composed of 10 steel strips with reinforced rubber strips casted in between, with a tensile strength of 43 kN. Each elevator steel belt is provided with a test qualification certificate.
Guide Rails
T78 solid guide rails dedicated for passenger elevators. They outperform ordinary home elevator rails in performance and load-bearing capacity, featuring a wider bottom width (78mm) and stronger bending & torsion resistance. Most of them are custom-made or high-end models.
